Primo Beer Mon Nov 23, 2009 12:21 am

That looks really good

That's because polished aluminum looks Better than chrome!

I've heard they're heavy. Any idea how much more they weigh than 5 spokes??

Primo Beer Thu Nov 26, 2009 1:18 am

Thanks for all the compliments I think they look like gasser mags from the 60's

fronts are 12lbs

rear are 18 lbs

I have no idea what the other rim weigh in @

I like the look of this car, because that's how they did'em when I was a kid in the 60's & early 70's.

There anything else done to the rear to put the BTR's on or is the 2" wider fenders all you needed? What about the front end? Was there any modifications needed? I know there offset is bad thats why I'm asking.
Looks really sweet I like it.

Thanks I am happy you like the stance of my bug.

bug has a drop front (no shorten front end)

widen rear fenders dropped a click

choosing the right tires makes the difference I guess

buggpower Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:01 pm

by drop front do you mean drop spindles?

Primo Beer Fri Dec 04, 2009 3:31 am

Adjustable select drop front end
