First - Everett, thank you for the forum.
Second - I've noticed that all of the sections have various threads concerning carburetors and, well.... it makes it real difficult to find information about specific carburetors. So, how about a section devoted exclusively to carb's and fuel injection? |

| It's best to ask in a particular Bug/Bus category. Especially since people commonly confuse carb. issues with other problems. |

I've been trying to identify a pair of Solex H-32/34 PDSI-3 carburetors, each is labeled identically.
I've been told they are type 3 carb's, and then the type 3 people say they are type 2 carb's. The type 2 people then imply that one of them should be labeled as a H-32/34 PDSI-2 (left and right off of an early bay window bus). But as I said, they both have the same ID embossed/stamped on them.
Alternately, people imply they are Solex 32PDSIT's.
So anyways, I was only thinking, after having searched and read all of the threads about carburetors that were similiar but spread over the various sections, that a carburetor section would get all the carb info into one place for people to reference and use.
Thanks for the reply. |

Pictures would help.
Post the pictures in the Type 3 forum, and we can sort it out. |

Those are not Type 3 carbs. They look more like early 1700 bus carbs, but then again there are some differences. They could be off an industrial engine.
You might ask in the engine/performance forum. |
