Even in a wreck like this I dont think a rear side panel would get near you. A shifter in the ass? Maybe.

Anyone have any information relating to them?

I am not entirely sure, because it is difficult to see on this photo, but I think I know where this one is at the moment. The one I know of does not have the stripes and the text on the side, but other than that, the color, the lack of rear bumper and door handle, the wheels, and the fact that the steering wheel seems to be painted make me think that is is the same car.
I will try to post a picture of it soon.

Well I took a little different path getting my shop delivery where I wanted it. If I can figure out how to post it I will.

Looks like John has some competition in the lead sled department. I like it.

PS. The one from E-Bay went to a good home

Yes, it is me...Mr "Phat Bug"..., and although the original owner kicked out the window panels as he suffered several health issues at the time, I can assure you that the vehicle came supplied with its original window panels which I have here. PS...This vehicle has not been involved with"Egay", I have had is since 1995...now in regard to the white PV which came up recently, I know who the new owner is and will not tell.!!

I know the owner very well too
The wheels were on loan from a mate to get it running for a show, got to have some fun sometimes.
I have the original grey and white rims with the original cross ply tyres which will be replaced.
If you have some NOS tailgate seals let me know, I haven't touched the body or interior yet apart from seatbelts, and the plan is to keep it looking like a used commercial work horse, not a show car.
The visor was already on when bought, again it will stay for now

If you've got NOS rear seal then I'll have one from you too!

Very nice. You almost never see one that hasn't been customized to some degree.

There must be a serious insect situation in Oz...

If I had a panel I would leave it stock.
