View original topic: Fridge Ignitor Killing Battery in Cold Weather - WTF?

So I have a buddy with a 91 Westy. Last week when it got cold in Charleston, he walked outside to hear 'click' 'click' 'click' by the driver's side of his van. He's new to Westy's and couldn't figure out what it was. Told me about it and I deduced it was the electronic ignitor on his fridge - this is the late model one with an actual ignitor rather than a simple clicker found on earlier fridges. It was doubly baffling seeing as how we couldn't get the damn thing to ignite under normal conditions - like when we're actually trying to fire up the fridge. Anyone have this happen before? Will disconnecting the fridge fuse make it stop? What's going on here? These last model dometics are new to me.
Thanks

Pretty sure it ain't the ignitor but the fridge itself.
