Snow Pics
Took these a while back when we got a little snow. It was fun playing around in it, I took the Bus to an empty parking lot at 1:30AM and pulled some doughnuts and drifts. Then I just went for a short drive because I could, these things are great in the snow. In some of the shots you can see my front side marker "light" mod, idea from another Samba members thread.

And I love the paint, I'm not much of a hippie but I've always loved that style of paint on a bus as well. Looks really solid as well, my Beetle has spent a lot of its life here in KY but wasn't so lucky. Like the thread and what you're doing with the bus!
Thanks man, there isn't enough VW'ers in KY. I did find the Central KY VW Club located in Somerset, KY. I joined them a couple of weeks ago, its growing really fast and they have already had one show and have another coming up May 15th. I noticed Louisville is having Water By The Bridge coming up pretty soon, I'm thinking about going to it but I guess we'll see, I'll have to cut my spring break short a day.
You should go to Water by the Bridge, I'm gonna be there with my Super! You can register online here. I'll have to check out that club as well, I've joined the River City Oil Drippers and it's growing as well. |

If I find myself at the show I'll try and find you. After looking at the site I'm leaning toward going now. |

Thank, man! The auto is really nice actually, I have no complaints on its performance. I would rather shift gears myself just because I like to but the auto has never let me down. |

I did see the Westy.....I would probably own it right now if I had a way to transport it and a place to store it. Unless its just a real heap, most people around here want crazy prices for their VW's, seeing one for $300 is unheard of. |

Yeah, its been a while since I mentioned those. I got them tuned to the best of my ability but they still weren't up to par but good enough to drive. I ended up taking the bus to Stuttgarts just after spring break, which is the same place that installed the flex plate.
They still have some quirks but I feel they are already way better than the Weber Progressive I had on it. |

| Like your bus, i have a 78 westy. I am looking for the flex plate bolts for the AT. Do you know where i can get them? I am rebuilding the engine and had to chisel them to get them out. |

I looked on ETKA online. Hard to know which bolts you killed. They appear to be:
Centers
part # 021105305A M12x1, 5x19
Outside
part 003323699A M8X11
Look at the heads of the bolts to see the hardness. 10.9 or 12.9 probably |
