Because photos uploaded to the gallery with no description or identifying category, title, etc. are useless for any searches or reference. We are trying to create a usable resource for VW related photos. Sadly, that does require that people co-operate. |

Another suggestion folks.
Just because your camera will take a 10 megapixel picture, does not mean you need to use that format for your Samba photos. 1 megapixel is plenty.
Most people except professional photographers cannot tell the difference.
Put your camera into 1 meg or 3 meg mode and take your Samba photos.
Even loading from Photobucket, they will load faster.
If you need some image manipulation software that works, and it's FREE (as in beer), download a program call The Gimp. (Graphic Image Manipulation Program).
It is free for the downloading, and is almost as powerful as Photoshop which you pay hundreds ouf dollars for.
With about 2 clicks, I can resize a photo for The Samba, or a Samba Avatar. |

blue72beetle wrote: Posting a picture because I have a question about my bus, does it go in the Bus category? Or parts? Oops, maybe engine
Easy - Full vehicles go in Vehicles. Parts go in Parts. There is no engine category.
blue72beetle wrote: That's why I use photobucket. But I make sure I never re-arrange my pictures, so I'll never have broken links.
You and 100+ other people with broken links. :)

Another reason to use the local Samba Gallery. |

I use this all the time, adds one-click resize to multiple photos (just highlight them all, right click and select resize photos right in 'My Computer') directly from Microsoft.
