Anyone know what this philips screwdriver was used for? 814-1
It's got the early Hazet logo, so from the '50ies?

That's a nice box; but that price is ridiculous. Must have been at least 2 bidders who were on something and really wanted it. |

Is this old stuff of modern stuff?
And off course, what is it worth
It will be sold from a VW garage that close the doors. The boxes will be sold inclusive the equipment.

I acquired a 30/36mm offset box end wrench a few years back. The old guy I got it from said it was from a 49'ish VW he had back in the day.
Works on a early Generator and crank pulleys.
Any idea on value? I won't be parting ways with it(I use it too often).
I saw none posted in here, and wondered how rare........ |

Is this an early 16 inch tool box? Just asking because it has the small screw driver, and full circle ring....

Great thread, I've found this a very useful resource :D
I have a good collection of Hazet tools, but most of the items I posess have already been pictured and posted, apart from this toolkit I picked up on eBay recently -
It's a 1135M (Metric) kit consisting of a set of '450' spanners, a set of '630' ring spanners and a '916' ratchet with '900z' sockets
Almost complete apart from a 10mm/11mm spanner
It has the size no.s stamped in a square box whereas others I have seen are not - any reason for this?
If anyone has any more info, I'd be interested to know 8)

Maybe I can get you that 10/11 spanner that you are missing.
I have also a question for the crowd; When was the logo text changed from Hazet to HAZET ? |

| The screw drivers are definitely recent models. Top pliers look later. Can't see the wrenches, they may be ok. |

screwdrivers are not. pliers are not. the "channel lock" type are not. on wrench (top in the first pic) looks like a 600N series, not correct.
post better pics of the tool, out of the case. |
