I need some welding done on my rail. Project has been on hold for almost 2 YEARS!... finally have some time and a *tiny* bit of money to start back on the project.
Welding: a place for a battery, place for a gas tank, re-weld a crappy weld (not mine) for the shifter box, and a solution to some seat-belt tabs that aren't in the way of the shifting rod, brake lines, throttle cable, clutch cable. Basically, I need help from someone who knows what the hell they are doing!
I don't have much money to pay, but I can supply beer. Whatever beer you want while working on my rail, as long as the quality of the welding remains good :D . Thanks in advance! |

Glad to hear you are back on your rail project. I am about 20 miles east of you. Wish I was closer, I would love to come take a look. I don't think I quite meet your qualifications since I have only built one rail so far, but would love to take a look and discuss ideas.
We might be moving that way later this spring. Trying to secure a good middle and high school for the kids. You probably know about that.
It might be a long shot, but are you available this Sat or Sun? we will be at Epic for a swim meet. Maybe I could stop by sometime. PM me if you are interested.
If not, that is OK too. Once you are back running, let me know. I would love to hook up for a day run west of Ft. Collins somewhere. The last two summers I have been from the state line south through Red Feathers to 14. Not much west of Red Feather as the altitude get up there. Maybe this year. OR south of 14.
I am going to Moab in mid April for a long weekend, interested??
