Wow!
Can't wait to see it.
If you park next to Choup's deluxe, the glare off the white paint will be blinding.

Started working on the awards last night!!

Since this show isn't like other shows, I can promise that the awards will fit the bill nicely. I made last years the night before, these will be far cooler.

mister bungle wrote: So this year we're going to have slightly more organized awards...still participant judged, and still not to be taken seriously. they will be much cooler than the ones I slapped together the night before last year too.

Bug early
Bug late
Bus
Porsche
VW other (T3, ghia,thing fridolin, SP2, hebmuller,rometsch etc... )
Kit car, buggy
watercooled all
best in show

I think that's all, I may have forgotten one...

I have to compete against Hebmullers? Not fair....haha

No offense to the show but think I'd rather be in Colorado too.....

I should be there in something, the bug is having some brake issues so might be in the big burb.....but who knows, might get it straightened out in time if my daughter starts sleeping a little better through the night

bummer Corey, dirty sean is coming up and i spoke with chadd yesterday and they may make the trek up here too! well, take a photo of you and/or you bug or bus and we'll set it like you were really here ;-) i'll be doing the same for my poor squareback ;-)

Hey Kelly,

here's the rundown:

Dripfest Show Tees
OCOD Short Sleeve Workshirts
Flexfit Hats
Girl Tank Tops
Koozies
Stickers
Baby Onesies
Aluminium Badges

Tikibar and Camping Headcount

if anybody is planning on sticking around and eating/drinking at the Tikibar after the show, please PM me. we need a headcount for the owner of the tikibar. they will be opening an hour early (3pm) for us provided we have enough people interested in the after show shindig!

also need a headcount for Camping at Cabin Craft too!!!

mister bungle Mon May 17, 2010 6:53 am

Yes, working on some badass awards in between coats of paint and other stuff is keeping me plenty busy

Beyond the normal participant judged "classes" we want to try something new here...anyone who wants to make and present an award for whatever they like(paint, wheels, mammaltoes, jordache jeans, mullets etc...) is highly encouraged

Brian told me Ryan "Booch" has one to present, hoping some other people get into it too

haven't seen this done at other shows but it could be really fun-you bring the award-you create the class-you present it

Also hoping the Garnet Guys get on board and present a "dealers choice" award, but haven't confirmed it yet.

I'd like to hear some details on the camping.
Where exactly is Cabin Craft?
What are the camping sites like?
How much does it cost?

Thanks,
j.

i'm headed up there tomorrow (spring mtn/tikibar/cabin craft).

Cabin Craft is right next to Spring Mtn...closer to the Lower Lot from the Dripfest 2008 location (the overflow parking lot). Super close to the Perkiomen Trail.

They have Hot/Cold Showers, and i'll verify the price for 2010...but last year it was $10 per person to camp.

I'll be posting info about it along with the DETOUR for any one coming from the Route 29 side...the Stone Bridge is OUT right now so a short cruise around the "Hill (spring mountain)" to come in on the side that most people came in last year---the front side ;-)
