| Does anyone have any pics of what this looks like? I am trying to find a rear tire setup for daily/mud/sand. The tires I have right now are stricly street. Just trying to get an idea of what it would look like. Not sure if I should go with 31x10.50 or 33x12.50. |

| 31x10.50's work best on a 8" wheel. Youcan put them on a 12" wheel, but it will look like a low rider tire with the side walls balloned out. You want to run a tire that is wider than your rim to protect the rim. |

the 10.50s will not want to stay on the rim when aired down any amount, and they will look goofy as hell. And unless you have some decent power or gearing you're gonna have a hard time spinning the 33's
Any chance of going to skinnier wheels? |

| I put a set of 30*9.5's on a 10 inch onece, and il looked like a short squat donught, I still only used 8's when i put the 33*12.5's on my jacked up burban. |

| Yeah I am not set on anything yet. I just have 12 inch rims on the back now and was seeing if they would work. Just another something to add to the for sale pile. So 8 inch in the back might be the way to go. Does anyone have pics of those with some 31's? What about 7.00x15 fronts for a daily driver? |

I Was sort of in the same boat...i already had 12" rims and didn't want to buy new ones so i bought 31 x 12.5 - 15 pro comp mud terrain's they fit the 12" rim great! plus i bought the warrenty cuz my 800 lb rail will never wear them out so i will always get free replacment with 50% + tread 8) |

33x12.50 on 8" rim
33x9.50 on 5" rims
700x15 on stock rims
I have driven thousands of miles on the street and off road with 70x15 and 33x9.50x15 tires on the front of rails and Bajas. I would never use reccomend any size smaller than 235 75 15 on the front. On a Baja you may have to raise the fenders. |

Excellent!! I was going to ask about 12.50 on 8 inch rims. They look great. Looks like I will be downsizing the rear rims. Anyone looking for some 12inch rear tires with brand new Mickey Thompson sportsman N50-15 let me know. Here is the link to the tires. Rims are VW 4 lug.

My buggy came with 10" wide tires on 12" wide wheels... I'm not sure if they're 29s or 31s or what. I have a great picture of them (at home) but not here - However, you can see some shots of them on my on the buggy in my thread:
