| you could use 1/4 inch or bigger flatbar the length of the bumper and put bolts through the bumper to hold it. you could add angle gussets. more or less build a bumper out of heavier steel and skin it with the stock bumper. |

There used to be sold of through the parts accessories.
About a 1" square steel tube that was curved to fit inside the bumpers. |

I plan on taking it into the woods often and that tiny bumper will bend easy.
Do you remember who sold the 1" bracing or who would have some more info? |

Would not be hard to make your own.
Get a piece of square or round steel tubing, and start shaping it to the back side of your bumper.
When you are satisfied, then drill holes to match the stock bumper mount holes.
Go to the local hardware store and get stainless carriage bolts long enought to mount through the bumper and the stiffener. |

here is the bumper i built for the hunting truggy. it does a good job pushing heavy brush and small trees over. i do plan to add a skidplate also. i cut off the ends of the stock bumper mounts and extended it out with heavy flat bar to the bumper.

You might want it to bend or you may end up bending the body instead
or plan on tieing braces into the body and bumper brackets. |
