i've been doing a ton of work where i need safey glasses and a dust mask. I'm constantly foggin up. i've tried no-fog goggles and wipes, but then it just condensates on the inside of my glasses or goggles. any ideas? I'm thinking about getting a respirator(probably better than just a dust mask anyways) wondering if i'll still fog up with that on. it gets really old and hard to work on my baja when i can't see what i'm doing. thanks

just thought about it, my shop is about 50 degrees, if i warm it up closer to my body temp , would that make a diff?

i have been using a full face shield. a respirator would help with way the air you breathe in and out comes out of the mask. the welding supply company i use has anti fog wipes for the welding hoods.

You could probably use snowmobile goggles. They are vented to let the moisture out.

soap works better than any of that $6 a spot stuff you buy for fogging

I just got a respirator for $15 at harbor freight. I dont have any problems fogging with it because you breathe out through the filters, so your breath doesnt just go right up into your goggles. So that may be a solution.

This may sound stupid, but for the longest time my brother and I didn't know to pinch the little metal thing to form around our nose on the dust masks, and once we figured it out that stopped our fogging problems because then the air doesn't just get shot straight up into your goggles.

Hope that helps.

You could try to not breath while you work....

maybe if i just drank instead of breathing. lol. i'll pick up a respirator and try that.

Sometimes with a dust mask it helps to add a strip of duct tape on the upper half. How large depends on your heavy breathing.

good idea, the more i work on my car the harder i breathe, combination of excitement and fat assness.
