| So I'm working to remove the door lock from the driver's door. Followed the Bentley until it asked me to remove the rear window guide (or something like that) and I couldn't find one. So, naturally, I skipped that part. Unfortunately, I'm now at the point where I'm trying to slide the lock down out of the door and it's just not happening. The mechanism just looks to wide to get through and out. Suggestions? |

| Not sure what year yours is but the ones I've done in the past just had two allen head bolts accessed from the inside with the door panel removed. Once those two bolts are out it's a simple matter of sliding the handle aft (I think) about 1/4 inch and then it will separate from the door. |

Sorry for taking up a topic with this one...
I grabbed the replacement for the one I was trying to get out and realized that if I squeezed it right it got smaller. Huh. After that it went pretty easy.
