Is it possible to take a pedal assembly like these, and re-index the the brake fluid Reservoirs? Can I turn them 180 degrees, so I can use these as hanging pedals instead of floor mounted?

You should be able to. Just flip the reseviors over. You will, of course, have to fab a bracket to hold to assembly. Another thing to think about is the the pedal throw. when you press on the pedal it will rise up instead of drop down, you may have to mount the assembly really low to the floor to keep your shoe from slipping below the pedal at full stroke (if that made sence)..

Unless you already have these, why not just buy hanging pedals? I was looking at some on the CNC website a few days ago.

I looked at the CNC site too, but the don't have prices on their site. I'm on a budjet build, so I know the price of the other one's are right. Do you know the price on their hanging pedal assembyies?
I'll have to call them on Monday I guess. |

I snagged my Neal pedal assembly here off the Samba Classifieds which also included a clutch slave cylinder and billet roller accelerator for $125.00. They were mounted on a car during build, and then sold to me as take-offs, never had fluid in 'em. Watch and wait, it will happen.

It's funny I'm trying the same thing. I bought these not realizing the room they take up. So I might have to hang them now, I think they will work upside down. I would adjust the heim joint out more to push the pedal out farther. Then I might cut the pedal off and reweld it at more of an angle so my foot won't slip off. That's if I do hang them, I am still in the "what the hell am I doing phase".

You don't need to hang them, just cut out the front bulkhead where the pedals go, and then build a sheetmetal "box" or extention through the bulkhead area to surround pedal assembly. Think glovebox hole in dash. I for one will never go back to cable clutch.
