Igot laidoff a couple weeks ago,so now I can put in some quality time and get this thing put back together.

The generator that came out of is a 38 amp , its about 5/8" longer. What did this thing go to, is there a offset backing plate so I can use it.

Thanks Ian for the info on the backing plate,I called a friend and he has one- problem solved. Thanks Everett for the pic,I was clueless as to where that bumper went.BrotherBob, todays length of day is 3hrs,59minutes and18 seconds not much sunlight going around and we are still losing 3minutes ,23seconds per day till december 21. I am going to the post office this morning to see if the sled team made it in with my new wireing harness LOL. The temperature is -8 ,thats better than last weeks -35. Have a great day.

Just to throw out some more information, those same rubber plugs are used on the top of the cargo floor in various places, primarily along the edge by the cargo doors and along the front by the front seat bulkhead.

Some of the holes on my '61:

(No plugs obviously)

Ok I'll let ya' off the hook until summer....
I remember a lil girl eatin a ice creme ,roller skating down the street in Soldotna and I asked my buddy what time is it ? He said ohhhh 1030 at nite.
It was like daytime and this was in August..
The DC looks great man, enjoy the winter ! So what's the pay off for a dog team delivery of a wiring harness anyway ? Scooby snacks ? 8)
