I have IRS. Torsion bars stick out too far and won't clear my paddles. I have done a search and found out there are shorter IRS torsion bars out there.
Question:
What is the difference in length between the two?
Is the conversion between the two an easy one? (or possible?)
Is it possible to keep IRS spring plates etc. and just go with shorter torsion bars?
Sorry, I haven't been in the game in so long, I can't remember much about the differences.
Thanks, guys. |

| You can switch to the early SA torsion bars (21 3/4in), but you need spring plates to match. You can take SA plates and cut them down, or buy pre-fabbed ones to match your bar length. That's what most people do when they want to got with larger tires. |
