By the way, i have some asks to make a second running of the 47 - 49 blue zig zag fabric. Are there some more interested in?

Next post will be a pic of the BIG ROLL oft the standart material. :wink:

Hey guys,
stupid think my mainbord left me and i have to use my fathers PC.
Yesterday the producer bring me the big rolls :shock:
I have start to cut in every order.
That stuff is heavy :!: There is only space for one set to send to John Henry, so if you want to ship to him ask him!
The shipping to USA is 35 Euro
I will send each one of you a bill from paypal.
By the way, the guy told me that there are 5000 single thread that will put in a needle by hand to start the producing, wow. No mistakes allowed.

Here is the original fabric that came out of my early 1949. I could use several metres to do the complete interior of my split. :) Anyone reproduces this material?

If it possible to get a little sample of the backside material?
Have you only the sidepanels ore somethink of the upholstery?

I have the seats, too. They have the same fabric. I shall try to find a spot where the fabric is like new and send you a piece.

I just received my interior fabric from Marcus today, and it is unbelievable quality, fit and finish!!

I am very excited, and cannot thank Marcus enough for his dedication and hard work. I truly feel honored to have folks like him out there dedicated to our hobby. He produced an excellent product that is virtually indistinguishable from an original piece, and is the only available solution on the market for us who have 49/50 standards. And at a very good price, I have no complaints at all.

That looks real close to the og fabric I have seen on a 46 and 47 sold through us army exchange Germany.
Is this correct for a 46 to early 49?

This fabric is really splendid, it matches perfectly with the color of the dash in bakelite standard or Cabrio Karmann/Hebmüller black or Brown color.

This Upholstery is awesome and very rare on a Black split VW. :wink:

I’m not able to tell you if the upholstery is for EXPORT or STANDART because it had been made in very few quantity. I have never seen it in meetings :!: The only thing I can say is that it’s very nice with a black or chocolate car 48/50. :lol:

Hi Fred,
i got your sample and i am very sure what we have.
See the pic:

You have the Standart fabric grey lines with red dots we are talking about in this threat.
I have lay yours on the one what John Henry send me. You can see the difference between the part in the sun and in the dark.
John, what do you say to this two samples, is it the same?
You see what the light do with the colours?
I am very very sure you have the standart fabric.
I have a second production running in the moment.
It will be availeble in 2 month.
