The 4th Annual "Lakeland VW Classic" Is held at The Lakeland Center, at 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland, Fla. 33815-1509. Will be giving away a FREE Turn Key VW Rail Buggy ,

NEW & Used Parts Will be Sold on Saturday & Sunday. All Venders One Registration Fee Covers for Both days.

We will be having Overnight FREE CAMPING. w/a Hot Shower available. The Car Show will be on Saturday ,Sunday ,(March 19,20,21 2010), we will be offering over over45 Classes at this Event. The Best Of Show will receive $200.00 a Trophy . Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Rail , Best Interior , receive $50, FREE Rides for the Kids on Both Days.

We will be working hard on getting Judging done Early this Year.

Thanks to Our Sponsors We will be giving out over $5000.00 in Door Prizes and Goody Bags.

oh and by the way incase you didnot know....this years show is dedicated to.... We lost a Titan this year in the VW World "Dave" From Sundance Bug & Buggy, All Our Prayers & Best Wishes this Year will be Dedicated to Dave and others we lost this Year! :cry:

Yeah, we will do this show again this year as the camping the night before is as my65vert says " The shit" I also have almost sobered-up enough since the last time we attended 2 years ago :lol:
Sad to hear about Dave too, I only met him once,....As he was helping me with something. Seemed like truly a nice guy.

And this just in...the Orlando show is 1 week earlier this year 8) NO conflicts this year!...now how hard was that guys:?: ...guess this means maybe I will be going to Otown show too :lol:

I've got an idea. How about adult sized soap box derby drag races this year. I think the parking lot is slanted enough. With all the booze it ought to be fun and cheap to do.

Here's something along the idea I was thinking....maybe a little more simplified. I'm looking into how to build 2 same cars cheap so it's all on the drivers and their impairments. Imagine Chadd and Middleburg Mike squaring off with a bunch of tipsy dudes pushing them off down the hill.

Okay guys. I'm taking this idea and running with it. I went to Harbor Freight today. There was one close by after I made my last delivery of the day. I wanted to scope out potential wheel options for the Derby Cars. I pretty much got an awesome...not normal discount on two Hand Trucks. Lay em down..... add front wheels with steering and Voila! I have to go back for the front wheels as I didn't have the extra $$ Cha-ching for that stuff on me. I have to get my welder going to do the mods on these but they have a 700 pound capacity. Best ones they had. What do you guys think? I busted out a very quick mock up of one of only the front wheets added. I have to make steering stuff and a seat and uhhhhh...... feet on the ground type brakes. Race will be on!

Attended the show last year great camping, missed the hot shower.

Saw some sweet cars and had a good time, very relaxing. See ya in March.
