Been a little bit of a learning experience... and slowly coming together.. Broke a rear brake line, it was fragile and just snapped in my hands...
cleaned the floor....

buttoned up - oil in trans

other side almost done but -

Looks like that line was due to be replaced anyway. You should replace all of them.

Fixed the blue lens too... Cant wait to see it tonight... Cleaned the inside of the speedo too... It was pretty easy to take apart...

Great job on the bus, I have one question, my generator light (Red) is on the left side and oil (Green) is on the right
do I need to switch them?

Emeritusx Sun Oct 23, 2011 5:41 pm

no - I have them in backwards... My oil light is red and gen is green... They were both brown when I got the bus, I musta switched 'em when I took the speedo apart.... I have seen the red one blink after a hard run and then idling when its 100 degrees out.. my bad.. It's a jersey thing :)

trailing arm - drat...

link pin from that arm

impact socket and a 12lb hammer takes these out...

used swing arm as a holder to drive out bushing

bushing installed....

slowly but surely, I now know that king pins and link pins are two different things :)
