Just trying to get a field of knowledge about the uses of the elephant foot adjusters. Can they be used with hydraulic lifters or just the solid lifters. There is an issue with the inside of the foot where the top and bottom meet. The issue is oiling between the two contact points. If there is constant contact there will be no oiling in a hydraulic setup. But in a solid lifter the two contact points inside the foot are separated during the non lift on the cam.
So to cut a long story short can you use elephant foot adjusters with a hydraulic lifter? |
