Are you parking in your regular spot tomas? I am gonna move to the right or left of my traditional spot because I want to get away from that hose bib. Last year I walked through mud all weekend. I may just take Markus's spot since he told me he wasn't commin.

i thought those signs just said reserved for ' full moon bus club' not any specific person?

when i checked in with carl back in november and again at winterjam there was no mention of 'reserving specific spots', actually, it was more like...'get there early if you want a good spot'!

toolman2800 Tue Apr 27, 2010 7:00 am

i am sure it will all work out. It always does. The problem is that this thing has gotten allot bigger in the last 2 years. No real rules were ever written down because when it was just 8 or 10 busses we just grabed the same spots every year and we never needed rules. Now that it has gotten bigger there is going to be a bit of growing pains. But we will just have to figure it out as it goes.

do you mind if it is the spot with the twigs, leaves, and dirt on the ground, and the college girls floating by?

I thought you had to pay extra for the college girls. 8)

Carl is simply trying to reserve an area just for our VW group. We do not really want a group with F350 pick ups in between VWs, not that there is anything wrong with that :). To do that you got to know roughly how many will come, collect the money and pay for the area reserved. Nothing else to it. Specific sites can be had with reservations as some have requested.

Simply trying to make it a bit more organized and more convinient, although it may not seem that way.

Again, all are welcome to show up unannounced as there are more then enough camping sites/areas available with the twigs, leaves, and dirt on the ground (not so much water though, maybe some girls) ;).

We will be there thurs. thru saturday. Can anyone bring an early bus tow bar? Seriously.

My Sundial is sitting about 2 miles down Poe Springs road, I could pull it behind me like a fifth wheel camper.

She needs to come home.

vwjedi Mon May 03, 2010 5:13 pm

Messed up my days will be there Friday and saturday nite, leave sunday after that hangover wears off. Just got off the phone with Carl so we are reserved!

I got the spot by the river, the one with the tree, and the leaves and the view of the topless girls at the boat ramp.

BTW- Still looking to borrow a bus tow bar, ice cold Wersteiners are in it for someone. :D

bugdust Mon May 03, 2010 7:14 pm

have yet to experience that view, this year we should just put our camp chairs there in line (boat ramp) and cheer all coming out with beer in our hands of course in hope of them doing something stupid

my65vert Wed May 05, 2010 4:57 pm

my65vert wrote: we could just hold up score cards 1 thru 10? :D

haha, good idea, we could also possibly get our asses kicked ;), so are you in charge of bringing the score cards?

my65vert Wed May 05, 2010 5:41 pm

I shall do it!

vwjedi Sat May 08, 2010 8:05 am

Where are these cost numbers coming from??? I read $200, confirmed with $178 per person for this event? :?

Am I missing something? This has allways been BYOB, BYO(Bus) and $19.00 per person to camp a nite. Thurday thru Sundat should only be $57.00 per person plus your own expenses: fuel, drink, etc.........?

Last year we had like 40 busses show up, good times. Lets see some VW's represented. 8)
