This years season opener will be Capital City Spring Fling in Olympia, WA
April 10th 2010 Show starts at 10 am - 4pm

Last year was a hugh success with tons of swappers and vendors.
Over 300 cars in the show, raffles, portable Dyno, over night campout Friday night and Saturday night.

So looking at the link, camping is now $17! Wasn't it ten bucks last year? Do VW people need hookups? Even the RV drivers that tow a yellow superbeetle with yellow Riviera wheels can get by without hookups for a couple of nights. I know the SBS crew needs to be in bed by 10:15, but I think the hookups thing is a little much.

I don't think these things are deal breakers for me, just seems like an abrupt jump. Correct me if I'm wrong.

As it looks right now, I am going to miss the show this year. Long story, and I am a little bummed. Some one take a few good pics and be sure to tell a few stories next week so I can be there vicariously.

2 questions, Friday night camping - What is the latest you can roll in ? what is the latest you must pre-register by ?

not sure, but I asked on our forum. So you'll have an answer by today.

I'm not sure I can make this one and that's bad since it's in my backyard. Hopefully I'll find out today. If not my brother will be camping out with my bus and trailer.

You can roll in as late as you want to....10:00 quiet time so if it's after that just try not to make too much noise ;)

Today (thursday) is the last day for preregistration.

Last year was the same price...but this year we're actualy going down to $15 and hopefully the show can pick up the extra couple bucks.
Some don't need hookups, but we're just forturnate to be able to camp onsite...so we just pay what it costs for the coolness ;)

We have sooo many swapers registered!! inside swap areas have been filled up for a while...if you're one that preregistered, your names will be taped on the floor in your spots.
Looks like great weather for this weekend!
I'm guessing it's going to be a great show to kick-off the 2010 season!
