Just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this before? Where the shaft for the adjustment knob is seized in the metal bearing in the center of the glass. I've already smashed one clock glass trying to get one of these free and would prefer not doing it to another.
I've managed to get the internal medal disk/adjuster off and have the assembly soaking in PB blaster. Would love to know if anyone has any other ideas?
This is on an early (68-72) self winding clock. |

| You can remove the glass rather easily and it should be fairly simple to clean/lube the adjustment shaft. |

I've had good luck with pb blaster on those but it takes time.
