Hello all! I have a really quick question. Are all bay window front beams the same? I know that there are differences with power brake booster mounting and whatnot, but is the beam itself the same? I have a '79. Would any bay beam fit if i was willing to weld on a mount for the brake booster?

| The only differences I'm aware are the early bay's. My buddy has a 69 and he said the beam bolts in identical to a split bus beam (bay is BJ and split is link pin of course). So the side mounting plates on the beam and the frame need to match, but I'd say any beam after 70 should work. |

The pattern changed mid 70, spindles cahnged a couple times after that.

| So would a 70 work on a 79? The link says changed between 69 and 70. I guess i'll just have to go look at em... |
