dawn and water with some nuts and bolts thrown in for descaling
drain water
blow out w/compressed air
rinse with Alc ( to remove the rest of the water)
re install
with fresh filter(s )
buy GAS |

Update: Running great!
However, the speedo went out. Started the death screech/wobbly needle, then it just stopped doing anything.
Also, my drivers window regulator is stripped.
Only trouble is, the window is halfway down..
Any ideas how I can change out the regulator with it like this?
In the meantime I whipped up a quick fix...

Had the salvation army bell ringer (i work at a store) tell me lots of people take pictures with my car. I finally caught some of them doing it, when I went on break.. :D

Did you try greasing the cable when it started screaching?
The first cold spell we had, mine started jumping around and screaching like fingernails on a chalkboard. A little pb blaster and it's quiet and smooth. |

Update: the car has been sold.
Sold it at BugaPaluza. I really had no intention of selling but a guy came up to me as we were leaving and offered. I'm hoping he will post on here, because his plans were exactly what I wanted to do....slam and clearcoat. :twisted:

The current owner contacted me and sent me these pics.... 8)
Slammed, 8 coats of clear, new interior and pans, etc....I love it!
