I avoided checking out your thread because I really don't like theme/tribute things (cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.) but your bug is an exception. The car looks good, keep up the great work.

The Coca-Cola vendor wanted to park by me. :)

Did you get some cola for free for that?? :D

Thank you!

And yeah I've seen that car, but I've never seen the engine pics.
Very detailed. I dont think I will go that in depth.

I'm a fan of decorating the coil (duh - mine's PBR until I find something better). :D

I like a somewhat detailed motor or a motor that's kept reasonably clean even if it's a driver, but I wouldn't want to go that far either. But it's pretty cool!

Hey TJ, Whats next on the "To Do" list?

Not sure. I was thinking about cleaning the paint up and clear coating the car. But as of now, I'm just gonna drive it 8)

Hey, the hubcap trim rings has been ordered and will be here in a couple weeks.

I like to try and have them somewhat clean, but mine are daily drivers, so I wouldn't paint anything white in there...

Here are my engines as of 5 minutes ago:

But they look great! And you can tell that although they're daily drivers, you take care of them. A good, driven motor must have some minor grime to it!

IS there anything else on your "To Do" list, or are you just gonna drive it till something inspires you?

Just gonna drive it, for right now. Its my main motive of transportation, since the 63's tranny is shot.

Unless anybody has any other ideas... :!: :)

You should have the Coke coil in the Coke car...

Lefty60RHD Fri Apr 23, 2010 4:39 pm

Chillin out at Bug-a-Palüza!! was right although it was a bit strange with the Chilly wend being cold chilly one moment then the sun baking my arms and legs then next. Overcast days like that will sunburn you in a hurry. I should have used sunscreen. My legs and arms are itching and peeling now.

But Had a Blast.
