| why does nobody use the chat room. everytime i go into the chat room it is empty. USE THE CHAT ROOM! |

| Speaking for myself I don't like chat rooms for the same reason I don't like long phone calls: I can't go do something else in the meantime. I check TheSamba only a couple of times a day. At work I really can't afford to keep the site up all day (my usage is monitored and anyway, I don't get paid to chat). At home I have too much stuff to do and I have three other people who also want to use the computer. And finally, being on the East Coast, I would have to be up in the wee hours to participate when most people are on, since most of the TheSamba's activity occurs in the evenings Pacific time. |
