People who name their cars and then hoist it on you . When talking about their car on a Forum or in person ,they will say " Insert name here " last week I did brakes on Inh or continually refer to their vehicle by its pet name
If you car has a name keep it to yourself or people who know you . I have thought of naming my car 'I love Ronald Reagan " just to annoy the lefties .
My other peeve are cheap people , bitching about parts that have not been produced for twenty years or so. Go and compare that same part to that of a new car . Go and price a hood for a Prius or a Focus and see how cheap our hobby really is.
I have a tool I rent out, It cost me $180.00 . I rent it out for $30.00 . $5.00 of that is shipping and if paid by Pay Pal it costs another $6.00 . If you think $30.00 is too much rent it from someone else.

Lately in my life there’s always this one blowhard who when bench racing or shooting the shit, thinks every locally owned business is out to rip him off.
I want to tell this egotistical self-made victim to seek help. |

i mod, the po hacked. there's a difference.
heres some more hack work done by po:
yanked heater cables
black 73 seats in a 74 with grey interior
yanked fresh air box and all associated parts
1/2" of bondo on the qtr
bent the jack points
theres more but you get my point.
People who don't inspect their purchases well beforehand, then bitch about the po's. |

People who buy ONLINE from private individuals and expect:
1. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
2. Full Refunds
3. Full Disclosure of Purchase Details
4. Immediate Response
5. Complete Breakdown of where and how a part fits.
Remember, there are 3 types of Sellers:
1. The VW shop who advertises and pays a FEE.
2. The Knowledgeable seller who knows what he has and asks top dollar.
3. The average VW Joe who bought a cheap car with a whole bunch of parts and just wants a quick buck from all that VW junk he has pileing on his backyard.
You may expect Service from #1, #2 may give it to you, but #3, You are on your own. DO NOT expect anything but a cheap part from #3. If you cannot accept this, DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!!!!!!! Get off your butt and go see it in person! |

| People on craigslist who ask you to bring something you're selling over to their house so they can look at it, something, like, say, a $15 used vacuum cleaner. |
