Im looking to buy a rhd bd 11 window with sunroof from Gerson, i know i can buy lots of repro parts to put this bus on the road just wondering what other parts id be missing for example
Glass, is it the same size as later splitscreens?
Wipers, can i use later motor and bracket?
All pedals and linkages, can later model parts be used?
I plan to use modified later beam so i can utilise all off the shelf suspension parts,rear straight axle, bug gearbox, hot engine.
What have i missed? |

BD windscreens are taller than later buses, side glass is the same.
Wiper spindles and motor are different.
Pedal assemby is completely different |

and Is the cab door glass the same??
I though it was different cause you couldn't mount the barndoor sliding catch on a later glass? |

The sliding glass has to be bd to fit the bd catch but the later will fit with the later catch
Didnt know that about the front glass :o |

yeah the front glas is about 1cm less in hight.
