I have a 55 wolfsburg built front clip for my barndoor (as i couldnt find a BD clip this is as close as i could get) I have spoke to alot of people about the difference between the 2.
I compaired the against some Gerson panels.
Here are the picture just wanted some more opinions if im missing some of the small details really, i know about the window, wiper scolops the dash and the big support cross brace that runs through the middle clip.
What i was hoping to do is to replace the windows and dash with gerson parts dress the wiper scolops so they are BD correct a leave the rest as is unless i have missed something as it all looks the same. O and sort the little rust problem out on the lower 6"
Any input would be a big help
Headlight bowls look the same unless the are wrong on my BD,
The heater system looks the same appart from 2 small flanges with 2 hold that is an easy sort out,
The A pillars look the same unless im missing some small details (if i am please let me know as with any of the others)
Another questions now, does anyone have any pictures of the replacing the support tha goes under the cab floor? i have these repair panels but as mine never had them fitting i have know clue where they go ect etc
Thanks very much for your help,

I don't know about the front panel but this rendering ( as posted before)
might help to put in the beams you requested. the 50,.. mm is the offset of the long one, the other sits to the right, inbetween them holding the shifter and parking brake, so should give you a clue where to put them.
also this shot of my rusted out front floor shows the location (although missing the parking brake lever)

look to go up in the middle there, in parallel, either side of the shift rod. |

On the inside of the front panel there are some captive nuts that hold the headlight rings/bowls in,are they are differerent from barndoor to 1955 up? wondered if mine were right or wrong as i have a clip of a march 55 bus to go on my barndoor wanna make sure all is good before i forget then things dont fit.
Does this make sence
Thanks, Sam |

Hi,
there are some differences in the a-pillars...front is correct depending on the year of your bus.
