I was finally able to make a post so I am hoping this works. I do not believe it is me, I have tried 3 different browsers. Sometimes the search will not work. Many times when I try to post it will act like I never hit the submit button. It says "Invalid post mode specified" in all 3 browsers (IE, firefox, Opera). I don't think its me.
LOL it actually posted. Is site maintenance being done? |

I just downloaded Opera, like an hour ago and it's doing the same thing. But, it's working fine, now. However, that is a good idea. If it does it again I will clear my cache and see if that works. Thanks! |

| Not sure of the issue if it's multiple browsers but it is just your computer for some reason as there have been no other complaints. |

AH HA. It's something in the UT cookies. If I right click in Opera, click "Site preferences", and then delete every cookie beginning with UT, then I can immediately post. However, I have to do this EVERY time I post. What is going on? UTMZ, UTMA, UTMB, UTMC
OK So I did some research and UTM stands for "Urchin Tracking Module", which is a Google advertising program. So, I posted on Googles help forum. Hopefully something will come about from this.
*clearing UTM cookies so I can post this*
Here are the values of the cookies:
UTMZ 948328.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none)
UTMA 213797073.359284447.1266948328.1266948328.1266948328.1
UTMC 213797073
UTMB 213797073.5.10.1266948328 |

| Changing the code in the UTMZ from "direct" to "none" seems to work. That way I don't have to constantly delete the cookies. So far so good! |

| From what I can tell those are the cookies used by Google Analytics so if you are having trouble, it should not be limited to this site as Google Analytics is used by TONS of web sites. |

Well, actually, the search function on another website, and the post function on another board were also doing the same thing. I have notified Google of it and I guess I will see. But it is working for now with the edited cookie. |
