| If someone has an original bumper bracket to loan out for a few weeks in the May timeframe, which is when I'm having some new items made, I could have a dozen metal cast which would be as strong as steel, capture all the original fine details, and would end up probably in the $35 range each in bare metal, another $20 or so more to have chrome plated. I looked where I thought I still had one of these archived but no luck, so if I can borrow I'll happily return in with a free bracket, PM me if interested, just an option, and Ricardo is also another option also to ask. |

| On the subject of hand start cranks , were both Standard and Deluxe (Export) Splits delivered with the crank hole in the rear apron ? My '50 Standard as I received it had a later apron installed by a P.O. and I had it replaced with a correct repro , but is does not have the crank hole . :? |

If ordered with the crank start option, yes. I'm struggling with drilling a hole in the apron of my '51 even though it didn't come with one. I just think they are cool..... |

| John , Thanks for the answer . I don't have a problem cutting the hole , the apron's a repop , and the bracket will be as well , but after all the other " upgrades " over it's lifetime , the final result won't look so out of place . |
