Really looking for a wheel I could paint(not chrome). Would like 4 1/2" fronts with 5 1/2" rear in a stock offset. I'm probably wanting a wheel that doesn't exist!

Why not just get wide five drums and use real smoothies?

I had seen a post sometime ago where some one modded stock wheels to look like smoothies (fill the holes). One of the slickest things I had recently seen though (on another site) was where someone found a plastic bowl that had the right shape and cut out the center for the hubcap to hold it and used beauty rings on the outside edges. Painted them with Krylon fusion. Looked awesome. And before you "poo-poo" the idea of plastic on the wheels, what are most modern hubcaps made of?

And as mentioned about about different drums - but you can get yours redrilled for 5 lug.

Take the new chrome wheels to the Chrome Shop and have them dipped/stripped back to bare metal.

I too have dove all over the internet looking for non-chrome plated 4x130 smooth wheels? No dice. They must exist. They have to be bare steel before they are chromed. There is not much on this subject posted anywhere. There must be some way to intercept the wheels before they get ruined with chrome plating? FYI, I checked my local tire and wheel store and they beat the price listed above for what looks like the same wheel............Z

You could probably call up the company that makes those wheels and ask if you can get naked ones.

I have not seen any plain 4 lug smoothies and I have looked- and I can pretty much guaranteed that the chrome smoothies that I posted are "imported".
