Ok I was driving yesterday and my turnsignals didn't work and my fuel gauge. So I cheked the fuse then it was out I replaced it then it blew it again!!! WTF then my fuse box cracked so I came home and glue it and then put the fuses in. Now when I brake or turn my right turn Signal on or 4 way flasher I blow fuses 9, 10, 11. ??? Any ideas what's going on??
Well when I went for the drive my brake lights weren't working and my right turn signals was weak and everytime it blinked it made my headlights weak. Then I came home and found the brake fuse was blow them I messed with it now it blows the fuses everytime I brake, right TS is on and emergency flaser go on.. |

we had some unusual fuse issues on our 1977 when we signaled. It was that the hazard switch came apart, and that the flasher relay was shorted out internally.
If using the turn signal causes the problem, but everything works Ok otherwise, see if the hazard switch has come apart. If it is whole or a 70 doesn't have one then pull the flasher relay and see if it still blows fuses. If it doesn't, replace the relay. |

| My 4 way flasher switch came apart and it acted somewhat like that, you can feel it, just reach up behind it and feel if it moves, you can see it a little thru the heater controlls. |

Well when you turn the drivers side turn signal it's fine for the 1st or second click then it goes quiet but the turn light at the sockets work. But when I turn on the passenger TS it first was weak and dim then I messed with it now it burns my fuse..
I tried the 4way flasers and it blows the fuse that goes to the 4way flaser!!!
Soo confusing :x |

The top of your switch (4 way) check it.. I bet it is off and flopping around. |

Not really, someting is shorting but has enough resistance to still allow it to work, when you use the hazards you bring 2 more bulbs to the party and it's too much for the fuse.
Turn on the left signals and step out of the bus, walk around front and see if the light is flashing brightly, then do the same at the back. One should be dimmer or not working at all, when you find the one investigate further, a wire could be pinched or if it's the front the socket could have come apart internally and be grounding on the reflector. |

| OK RH, not LH, either way you've gotta find the bad one. Disconnect the lights on the RH side and see if the fuse still blows, if it doesn't reconnect one light at a time until the fuse blows again. |

Early hazard switches don't fail often, it's usually a 73+ issue. The relay above the fusebox may be the high/low beam relay or the flasher, either way leave it alone right now.
If you're crapping your pants to know what it is compare the colors of the wires going to it to the diagram. |
