Hello All,
Having aquired my first bus/camper in 20 years I am very happy. It is basically trashed inside but has a good body. Engine wiring is a mess. Is there a diagram somewhere of just the min wires I need to get the bus running? Then I can work on lights, guages, etc. It's a 1972.
Thanks!

Welcome Josh, You can find color coded wiring diagrams here for your 72 bus.
Simply look in the index above to the right and you will see the Technical
section.open it and go to wiring and then to your year and model.
And if you can print your self a copy in color.
You also need to purchase a Bentley service manual for more info. |

Oh, I don't know - might help put context to the problem; to see what the PO has done... |

| Pictures aren't a bad idea if the wiring's a mess because the experts here can weed out what's PO junk and what's original. My Westy had 3 different attempts at an ignition switch, plus it had the optional A/C, BA-6 heater and cruise control so it was tough to sort out what was what even with the Bentley. |
