| I noticed today when I started up th engine that it spit out a bunch of blavk liquid. What would this be? Is this normal? |

| how long was it sitting for? oil tends to seep through the rings if it was in storage for a while. if its an everyday driver maybe some condensation or water got in the pipes mixing with the carbon? do a compression check to ensure your rings are still good. |

If you are just talking about basically, black water. Do not worry. Virtually every car on the road does this to some extent.
It is merely water vapor mixed with carbon and rust. At night after everything cools the natural humidity in the air condensates in and on the engine. When you start it you are not only sucking in cold moist air but you are also displacing it all from the exhaust system, from the combustion chamber to the tail pipe. Hot moist air will also dissolve carbon, hence, black water out of the pipe.
