While cleaning up my collection I found this door handle. My dad said he had it from a split beetle but the number begins with a 2 so that means its a bus handle.
The writing on the inside says HUF L- 211.051 VW. HUF is probably the manufacturer. The number is shorter than on the later handles, who have 9 numbers. The vw sign is also different from all the other door handles that I have.
Does anybody know of wich year this handle is :?:

but on closer examination I see that the one in the ad has the "modern" VW-logo even though the number appears to be the same. |
