Is an odd one, I was blasting small parts for my zwitter when I noticed the reserve handle was copper plated? Both parts in pic were sandblasted.

| Interesting. They copper plated steel fuel lines also, so maybe they did it to the reserve levers for corrosion protection.... |

| that doesnt seem right joebug.arent most ground wires copper?i know some are also aluminum too.kinda interested in this ...now i gotta go check my zwitter. |

| It is only copper plated not all copper. I am thinking they may have had problems with rust? Can it be a problem with dissimilar metals? the Aluminum valve on a metal handle? On the strange side maybe it was some left over fuel line stock from something else? |
