Julie awesome pics sorry I missed the cookies. Next year I camp Wed-Sun no bother to go to the Classic and I don't miss OCTO next year like I did this year. VTO you guys are the best. PICS HERE

Thanks everyone for all of the positive comments... All of the photos and video i have senn... All i got to say is.. How can we make next year better.....

I would like to thank everyone for coming out... we have posted a few pics on our site... but they dont compare to Erics... Thanks Eric for taking so many pics...

Post a "list/schedule of events" on TS sometime before the event. This will help newbies (like me) figure out what is going to happen and when. Some of them required advance preparation.

Send a couple of kids out to the site a week ahead with a .22 to scare the wildlife a little further away. (just kidding, I think)

Draw my tickets in the raffle. (I know, buy more... :))

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Alot of people to thank for all of the details that make this campout fun. I went to the Classic this year for the first time in like four years. There was some cool stuff I hadnt seen at other shows. OCTO was killer as always. But I feel that a laid back campout is always gonna be a cool way to go. Thanks again everybody!

I thought that the Blackstar Campout was pretty darn perfect! The only thing I could think of to make it more perfecter would be the same suggestion that GeorgeL had. If I had known ahead about the cookoff/pot luck, I would have been prepared. And the park had lots to offer, it would be good to let folks know of all the cool possibilities for fun right there without going anywhere.

I am glad you guys enjoyed the cookies.

Even though we were unable to attend this year, Iwould like to say that from all the pics I have looked at VeeeeeeeeeeTeeeeeeeeeeOooooooooo!!!!! did it again. Hats off to all who were involved with putting on this Event. Next year for sure.

My wife and I flew to LA and rented a classic Westy from VW Surfari to attend OCTO and the VW Classic. We're from Kansas City so we didn't really know anyone there. Johnny from VTO invited us to Blackstar and also to camp with their group later. We felt like part of the family! This was the best vacation we've ever had.

Thanks to the VTO family.

We enjoyed meeting Walter too! Long live Walter!
