just curious really, I never understood why everytime someone mentions the car, or starts a thread asking a question about it, everyone goes balistick like he's the antichrist!

yes I agree that Fully Loaded was a terrible movie, but I still like the older ones. I mean come on, some of the cars were built by some of the most reputable names and shops back then.

I think most of us got over the Herbie at about 8 years of age. As the father of a young boy, I keep a eagle eye on adults who didn't. Other than that Herbie vw's are ok with me.

I see more Herbie's runnin around than I do batmobile's. Herbies are ok I guess if there done correctly.

No, I am not saying that, Herbie owners can be as upstanding as anyone. I am saying my first reaction is to be very suspicious.
