NOT a fan of the bling, but I REALLY like the idea of the bumper end caps, front spoiler and what look to be fiberglass side skirts to bring the look of the body down. I think this would look good with 17/18's or similar.

I agree. That's why I posted it here instead of the Bastards Thread. It looks more like that JADA toy than any other Thing I've seen.

Posted this in the "slammed thing" thread already, but I think it's worth posting it here as well.

This RHD now resides in South Carolina.

Completely new engine, complete new front suspension, brakes, wiring, wheels, etc., etc. .... metal replacement next...

A lot of fun to drive!

I know that car well. Congrats on Her. We're both from LBC. 8)

Losing the skirts was a great first change.

Soon to be born... again. Picture taken with a crapy camera.

Now I'm researching wheels and tires to get it lower. Any toughts?

Regards

How low do you want to go? Slammed or Lowered?

As for wheels...Something different would be fully chrome sprint stars,
would look cool on a more drab paint scheme...imho.

I vote something with caps. You have four-lug fronts a wide-five rears?

From the classifieds:

in Hilo, Hawaii for 5,500. Dayum sweet ride. http://s935.photobucket.com/albums/ad198/k-town-1/

I narrowed a beam from a 77 bug that had the wheels with tires already. I'm trying to make my mind in which rims to buy before to get the proper lug pattern brake.

I like tkelley idea of fully chromed sprintstars... I would love to Slam this car like the one in the picture but with other rims.

A more drab paint is what I'm looking for; the story behind the paint job is very sad, which left me desapointed in painting the car again.
