| Hi all: My son has a '99 Passat with a fuel pump relay problem--needs a new one, apparently. Question: Will it do any harm to his car to drive it home (100 miles) with this problem. He'd like to get it fixed in his hometown. Thanks in advance for any help!!! |

If it is actually a relay problem, it may strand him along the highway.
The relay is just a plug-in unit.
Buy one from the dealer where he is and plug it in. |
