Has anyone seen one of these before? I bought it in the classified section. The seller told me he bought it at a swap meet from a German guy who told him it was from the 1950's. It appears to be lost wax hand carved then cast in bronze. Both sides are identical except the eagle's head faces left on one side and right on the other so that they match back to back. It is a little larger than a quarter. It has a lot of weight for its size and if it was not bronze the loop at the top would be very fragile but it is very sturdy. Post a picture if you have one of these and tell us what you use it for :) (pendant, medallion, zipper-pull, keychain, charm?).
