I need some help. I am new here. Just picked up a 1957 oval that I am doing a frame off resto on. The first question is that the car came with a fuel tank that has a :?: :?: seperate sending unit on the tank and a vdo guage in the dash. All the 57 I see do not have this. I know that it is a deluxe model. It was brought over from Japan. I bought it from the original owner. Also where is the best place for sheet metal repair panels.
Thanks for the help |

Sheet metal depends on what you need. For most of the normal stuff search for the user Wolf1 in the classifieds...I've bought lots of stuff from him and he's the one.
As for the fuel guage..probably added later by the owner or it could have been a dealer installed item, but none ever came from the factory with a gas guage. |
