:) Quote: Thank god winter is almost over!
Amen, Brothah! I've been driving Pepper all winter long; heater and all, it was the coldest, wettest, most miserable winter I can remember. I used to romanticize the whole "winter, snow, etc" experience. I must be getting old....these bones don't want a repeat any time soon.
I'm anticipating the warmer weather so I can again get to work on the esthetics, without the discomfort of freezing my a$$ off in the garage. And I thought working on her in the 110 degree summers was bad! |

I was finally able to get out and work on my engine, 58 degrees and sunny here in Memphis.
Then my wife reminded me that the interior is first, then the engine, as we're dumping a hundred a month into storage until I get the windows in.

| Been out two evenings this week -not very warm but crisp and dry ,big change for here in Ireland - Man I can't wait till the clocks change the end of the month an I have an extra hour to 'Do My Thang' - long live quiet roads and nice weather and most importantly our beautiful Ghia's. |

I was in County Kerry for a week and a half one November, Ballybunion to be exact, Rain and 30 to 40 mile winds every day but one, An old man passed me on the street at one of the fiercest moments of wind and rain and said in passing "Not a bad day is it!"
I fell in love with the Irish that day. |

Ahh good ould Bally B ,spent many a rainy summer down there -I know it well ,November not the greatest time of the year to visit ,but when is ?
there's a great Vdub scene here you could have checked out -Maybe next time -Ghia's are few and far between possibly 50 I'd say in the country maybe more in sheds and barns but the Irish did'nt get the Italian/German styling in the 50's and 60's .but glad you enjoyed it here. |

yah, had the coupe out this weekend, it was in the 50's in Maine, all the snow is LONG gone. Warmest/least snowy winter I can recall, only used the snow blower twice. :x
I prefer a snowy cold winter, oh well too late for that at this point. It's Ghia time now! YEAH! |

| My ghia sprung a leak in the brake system somewhere up near the master cylinder this past Monday so no driving her till I get a chance to fix her up again. It's too bad because the past two days have been the nicest we've had since fall. :( |
