My brother and I ran the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood last weekend and finished 2nd in class for both days. It's great to beat other teams with a 40 year old car!

Way to go!!!

You do not need all that high tech equipment and 4wd to win ralleys.

I stopped keeping track after 15k. 6k+ motor, 2.5k cage, safety equipment, fuel cell, full gauges, driving lights, paint job, etc...

How is that plastic sheet holding up under the car?

It's holding up fine. The mud flaps are getting a bit worn near the bottom edge and the flaps that I have attached under the rear arms at the lower shock bolt are usually torn up after a rally.

I have 3 miles of gravel just to get to a highway from my house.
The gravel beats hell out of the heater boxes, the bottom of the case and the muffler.
And I am not Rally driving.

What class would you be in? And the people i work with ask, "how many cars, two?" So in order to shut them up, how many and could you post some of the pertinent rules. Great car and good luck in the next. If you are ever in this area i'll work the pit.
