Geeze baha maxx !!!!!! These people are trying their best to help you with your problem but you are making it hard with your 2nd grade posts. Please, please try to learn a little about sentence structure and make your posts easier to understand. These people know their stuff and can help you if you can do that. I don't mean to crack on you but the truth is the truth. It seems you have a severe problem and they could be a great help but YOU have to help them first. Good luck in the future.

Man! What happened with Baja's car? That's some of the funniest shit I've ever read. Waiting for new episodes.
Seriously, does anyone know if he found his problem?

All I have to say is ALL the posts to help this kid were USELESS & pretty embarrassing in my opinion. Isn't this forum is to find solutions, or is it a flippin' chat room? C'mon guys.

Baja_Maxx, look down the throat (top) of your carburetor when your car is off. Near you is a tube that points downward into the carb. That tube is what injects fuel into your carburetor via your accelerator pump. If you have gas still emitting from the tube with the engine off, your accelerator pump is sticking, or just needs to be adjusted, or might even be rubbing against your alternator. You might need to rebuild your carburetor too, as a rebuild will replace your accelerator pump diaphragm. You can PM me if you need more information.

RobbyK...whoooa there pardner. Do take a moment and read the posts that others offered with well-meaning advice before we paint with a pretty broad brush. There was some solid advice passed on and not ALL posts were USELESS. Then again, it's only my opinion.

As others have said, this is some pretty funny sh...tuff. In my mind, clearly the most humorous post I have seen, and nothing was even remotely malicious was posted. However, in retrospect, it only takes a moment to read through Baja's previous posts to see that he:

1. Recognized that spelling is an area of opportunity.
2. Has judiciously used question marks in several posts.
3. Has applied commas on occasion.
4. A period was even spotted.

Hey, everyone can improve if they want to. He surely does, but I don't speak for him.

I'm hoping for MORE lighthearted and humorous responses when they fit into the topic at hand.

Now, I do hope, Baja does return to this post and offers how (if) he solved his problem. Hey, that's how we learn, by understanding the solution. If he was closer I would have offered to have him come over, wrench on his ride (and have for others), offer a frost beverage (if he was of age naturally) and get him scooting or scraping down the road whatever his ride height dictates.

Baja....come'on back! We truly want to see that you have mastered fire and kept it in the combustion chamber.

From one old and slo to another, well said.
Come on back and give us an update Baja. I think everyone here would like to help.

I recently had the same problems with my 67 bug. I changed the fuel pump and accelerator pumps on both my carbs and she runs like a champ. Well she would run like a champ if i had the money to register it haha. Good luck baja maxx, don't worry i understood your post i'm 18 and i sometimes write without punctuation when rushed. Just ignore all the stupid joke comments they were funny but unnecessary. Just focus on getting your bug squared away.
Best of luck,
Eric Slater
