greetz from germany...
sorry for my english, i hope you all understand what i write :)
the last 12 years i have had some watercooled cars, golf 2, jetta 2 and so on... my last showcar was my polo 2 1/2 turbo with an 1,5l turbo (k04) and about 230hp!
last year i decided to give him away, so i sold all parts separately...
here some pics:
and in august 2009 i bought a 1961 ragtop export-model!
it was in a great restaurated condition for my modifications ;)
here the pics from the tour to bettys new home.
some little mods for the first weeks and a ugly motor color :roll:
this will be change, so stay tuned...
some new wheels for the rear in original optic wided in 5,5" with larger stainless stell rims... the front is smaller now 3,5" ;) and all painted in red!
some new parts linke the window rubbers all aorund with new trims. and albert swan neck repros...
and for the complete US look a MPH tachometer ;)

note: betty is lowered now ;)
and here the parts for the lowering project!
cleaning the interior for all modifications...
for the secret hifi here the headunit with the airride steering components...
the new carpet... :)
notched springplates and a selfmade 3" frontaxle...
the new restaurated interior - 50th classic US-style
now its hooded ;)
red hella backlights...
the new look of the ugly engine ;)
just glossy black with some red/white parts and stripes...
ready to get low! betty goes down the way i like it...

but tüv is always available but not on H!
