| i just got my moms 67 bug with 82500 miles. its been sitting out in the weather of arizona for about 10 years and is a little rough. trying to decide on restoring to stock or make it a hot rod :? |

| OK If you keep it stock the resale market is much broader then a customized car, the buyer has to like your customizations. All I am saying if it has great Patina leave it. Make it safe to drive. |

| IF you know how to work on a car and dont mind tinkering with it go hot rod. If you are still learning and want something a bit more reliable with less hastle keep it stock. Once you know how to work on a car get another one (every VW owner always does) and customize that one. That way you have a dependable stocker and a custom ground pounder as well! |
