i think he was under the impression that some of the guys who would chime in actually had some clout...............i told him to research these fellas galleries and see just how much clout they have.........

danm,this bus was pretty fucked and now its not,really sorry we ruined it for ya.....................

Sweet job bringing this back, looks great og is cool but I think the use of your favorite vw color is great and I love that combo. Use it enjoy it and post pictures for all us non purists to drool over :)

always consider the source..............my excuse for being on the forums is my babysitting days,my boy gives me snippets of time,yesterday i found the time between watching and cleaned/assembled the headlights for my 52

Wrong colour? HELL NO! PG/SG will always be the correct colour. Looks sweet, I'd let you paint my bus the wrong colour anytime. :lol:

Nope. Never got pissed. I probably shouldn't have started the thread in the manner that I did, asking people what they thought about me decision to possibly change the color, but hindsight is always 20/20 and I had a few beers in me at the time. It's easy to read too much in a cold medium such as this and e-mail, etc.

She is done! Adam (hugheseum) did an amazing job! Next task at hand this week will be laying down the 100 lbs. of Damplifier Pro butyl waiting in the wings and then I can start designing my camper interior. I also need to get the drip caps to go over the Hehr windows, and I want to add another Hehr window to the passenger side, just like we have on the driver side. At least I can drive her now. It has been a long 9 months waiting for this day, but it was totally worth it.

Turned out real nice.

I've had the same issue about original paint colour vs what i really want colour wise. I hope my choice will look as good as yours, i'm not doing PG/SG though, i'm not even using VW colours :shock: :lol:

I hope you enjoy using your bus to the full 8)
